Poca is the creative partner whose lived experience with holistic wellness and Ayurveda shaped Kane's voice, content, and point of view. The recipes, tips and constitution guidance you find here all draw from that collaboration.
Why "Kane"?
Kane — pronounced "KAH-nay" — means eat in Sinhala (කනවා / කනෑ), Sri Lanka's main language. Both Musenzi and Poca have roots in this beautiful country. Coincidentally, it also echoes the Japanese phrase kane no mi, evoking the idea that wellbeing is the real currency. We loved that double meaning — it captures exactly what we want this platform to help you build: quiet, daily strength that comes from nourishing yourself and being at home in your body.
Our principles
- 01Traditional wisdom, clearly labelled. When we quote Ayurveda, we say so. When we cite research, we say so.
- 02No hype, no fear. No cure-alls, no scary claims. Just gentle, grounded practice.
